OrthoFX™ uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to straighten your teeth. And, no one can tell you are wearing them because it’s invisible! Not only are the aligners invisible, but they are also removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
Conventional Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces are made of high-grade stainless steel. Metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding coloured elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colourful smile.
Self-Ligating Braces
Orthodontic technology continues to develop which makes wearing braces much easier and more comfortable these days. One of the more significant advances in this technology is the development of self-ligating brackets. These eliminate the need for elastic bands used in traditional metal braces and also means less force is used when moving your teeth.
Cosmetic Clear Braces
Clear braces use the same system as traditional metal braces; the only difference is they’re less noticeable. They are made of a clear, ceramic material which closely mimics the shade of the tooth. They won’t stain over time either.
